Layout help

Hi, all I have a 55 gallon long tank. I have a couple of pieces of drift wood, not certain of the type, and I'm looking for nice layout ideas. Are there ways to layout the substrate to make it look more full? How about the drift wood? Stack it all together? Plants? Is there a technique to this, or is it just creativity? As you can probably tell I'm a newb haha

There's tons of 55g tank journals on this forum, just look around and see what you like and tweak it how ever you want. theres really no wrong way just be creative.
