Questions about Potassium Permanganate and another about lighting

So I bought a coralife 36" for cheap but its missing a bulb. I was wondering what bulb do I need for it. I plan on growing Marsilea Minuta and S. Repens with a plan for carpeting. No CO2 used.

My tank is a 12 gallon long, so it's shorter than the average tank.

after catching SnS herpies, I've learned my lesson and begun dipping plants in Potassium Permanganate. I was wondering if I dipped them for 30 minutes in the pot. perm. , what steps do I have to take to make sure the plants/moss are safe for the tank. I have shrimps in the fish tanks only.

The lighting question would probably be best in the lighting section But! How many bulbs does the light have space for? What bulbs are in there now? Hoppy has a handy sticky post in the lighting section with a new easy to read graph on light.

After you soak them in your pretty pink concoction, rinse them off very well and you can use Prime in a bucket to also dip them in after the rinse.
