Picked up 100g of Trace and realized that Boron was at a whopping 1.3% compared to Plantex's 0.04%, everything else is the same.

What you guys think? Would I be able to dose this or no? What does Boron do anyways? What the toxicity of Boron to plants?

I think I didn't make it clear enough.

CMM and CSM are products from Plant Products Co., Ltd.

CMM: for Canadian market, contains boron but no magnesium.

CSM: for US market, contains magnesium but no boron.

The reason for this is beyond me.

There is a formula for Fe:B ratio which is around 5:1.

The CMM (this is what you've got) contains 7% iron.
Hence the 1.3% B (7/1.3 = 5.38).

Then when planted tank people in the US wanted to do that with their CSM.
They mixed some B in and the iron percentage reduced to 6.53% (along with
other nutrients) because of the additional substance.
Hence the 1.18% B (6.53/1.18 = 5.53).

You can use CMM without problem. If anything, it's the CMB+B with very low B (0.04%..wow)
which may cause boron deficiency. But I doubt whether the seller knows the real percentage.
It might have been 1.18% all along. Google will tell you that CSM+B contains 1.18% B.

There are some topics about boron here and at the APC forums.
