CRS/CBS berried at 81F

The angle of the fan plus the fan output determine how much lower than room temperature it gets. Aim the fan directly to the water surface gives you the best result. When my room temp is 80+, I have no problem getting the tank to 70 with a 50 CFM computer fan on a 20G tank.

Another thing to note is, you can hook up the fan to a timer and do like X min on, X min off and adjust the X according to the room temperature so you tank has a relatively stable temperature.

Mine are all on a timer and during the day I give like 30min on, 30min off and then at night it's like 15min on, 30min off.

That sounds good but I also have my light bulbs connected to it. How many times do you have?

My lights I turn on and off when I get around to it. lol. I used the timer for the fans instead.

My berried CBS's eggs hatched today. I just got home from work not too long ago and I saw about 3 baby shrimps.

This is my first time with baby shrimp, what should I do?

Try feeding baby specific food increases their chance for survival as it contains nutients and bacteria necessary for early development. shrimplets may eat adult food but cannot compete during feedings. Biofilm may not be sufficient depending on the existing population in the tank.

My infant tanks are fed Borneo Wild Bebi. Others use Mosura Bio Plus with good results as well.
