Malaysian Trumpet Snails

Does anyone in or near the Bay Area have 10-20 of them? Put in one single assassin and two puffers to keep the pest snails and the MTS in bay but those three guys turned out wiping off most of the MTS colony...==

Hmm...It might sound a bit mean...but we hobbyists all know that MTS multiply extremely quickly and easily plus they are very small too. Someone offered me at $1 each...it's just sorta unacceptable...I am thinking of around $2 for ten + shipping?

I wish I had some for you. I had to setup another small tank and load it with snails to feed my puffer. HAh.

About a month or so I had gotten some from albany aquarium, I think they cost like a quarter each or so. I had looked in like 5 other stores prior, and didn't see any snails at all.

I'm just starting to notice a couple tiny ones, so hopefully I'll start getting a decent population in a month or two

There are currently some craigslist ads selling them for 2-3 a dollar.
