Who else keeps their Scarlet Badis in a peaceful community setting?
I have a single male who is thriving in my 45 gallon cube heavily planted mixed community tank. Its my favorite critter to watch as it moves in and out of all the dense foliage. It has so much personality in such a tiny package.
I have two male D. dario in a heavily planted 8.5 gallon tank along with 8 A. normani and another 8 B. brigittae and a few cherries and amanos. I was only planning for 1 D. dario but ended up with two... It's quite packed in there but planting heavily seems to keep everyone happy.
The bigger badis will chase the smaller one away but I've not noticed any injuries so far...
