Hi everyone,

I was just wondering about some bright idea i had about Fertilizing rooted plants. please let me know if this sounds like it would work.

i would like to use liquid fertilizer and inject it in my substrat using a syringe and rubber tubing.

installing a perforated tubing in the substrate and leting in hang out from the top of the tank with a valve and when i need to fertilize simply inject it in the tubing. sound very simple and much easer than pushing tabs in the substrate and messing everything up.

So what do you think, any advice or better solution for rooted plants.

Tks

One benefit of root tabs is the slow release of nutrients. Your injections might also disturb the substrate around the roots too often. But if you like your tank looking like a drip irrigation system then it would be better them no fert at all.
