I added a small piece of riccia to my turtles tank the other day figuring it could just grow untouched in there... Wrong again lol. He had already dug up all the crypts i planted for him a while back.
Actually eating pieces of Riccia when I got home today. Baby musks are almost completely carnivorous so it's a little odd.
baby carnivorous turtles will eat anything...just to try it. my two blandings yearlings have been munching on ecocomplete. dont know why, dont care. lol they want to eat gravel, then they can poop gravel too. ha
what i've done with my small weaker plants, is rubber-band them to rocks and/or driftwood. keeps em held down, then gives them a chance to grow huge.
I also heard they like Anacharis. I was going to say to use an Amazon Sword that is almost fully grown as it will grow just as well/w part of it sticking out the water.
