Planted Tank Obsessed

Native fish in WA?
I'm curious, since all of my friends are setting up native tanks, do we have any natives that do well in a tank? What little minnows an fun stuff do we have in the state? East side? West side?

olympic mudminnows, lake chub, flathead minnow, and banded killifish. I've seen olympic mudminnows in a friends tank long ago they're pretty looking fish.

I use to live in Ellensburg and have caught Lake chub off Dollarway and N Pott Rd across the street from the winery.

I know they're not minnows, but if you can get some pumpkinseed sunfish, they are great little fish to have! They tend to be a bit aggressive, and will eat shrimp like nobodies business, but in a species tank they are some of the most beautiful fish you'll find. They don't get very big, and in my experience they leave plants alone.
