Any chance you can convince my wife I need this? I tried everything, with no success.

But from what I can see from images, this tank is acrylic(?) and has rounded corners - should jack the price up.....

Where did you get it from? US or overseas?

Hi midlife. I got it locally a few years ago. Was over $1k for the setup.

I've let it go and want to redo it,and am thinking about replacing the whole thing. There must be 200 crypts in there now, maybe twice that many.

Maybe I should start a mass sell off, but that seems like a lot of work. :-)

I've often heard and said, "God works in mysterious ways"...
More proof of that is Zapins' For Sale tank. If I had a larger vehicle, I would have bought this as well as many other deals I see on Craiglist....

Bump: Longgonedaddy,

Have you explained to your wife that another tank would require more of your attention & time and would preclude you from hanging out with your friends or The add'l time wont allow you to have the time to monitor your wife's spending habits on Amazon, etc.?

Bump: NJ aquabarren,
Assuming you've taken care of that tank, you'll probably never realize what its worth if you tried to sell it. I'd recommend keeping it and starting over....
In my opinion, half the fun is in the setting up - the planning, looking for good deals, kibitzing on species/compatibility with other hobbyists, etc....

Offer the crypts for sale on here and what ever is left I'd recommend donating to a local non-profit Aquarium society. I could put you in contact with several- Bucks county and Delaware county in PA and North Jersey and Jersey Shore in NJ. They all meet at different times of the month. Additionally, chances are, you'll find someone who has whatever NEW stuff you're looking for at a good price
....

That's the problem, she's the saver, and I'm the spender!
