Can you ID these snails?

I have these hitchhiker snails that came free with my plants. What are they?

You've always got to be so technical on this distinction.

Anyway, squish them and feed them to your fish. Look for eggs sacs above the water line and remove them. That'll make a big impact on keeping the population low. (And you already know not to overfeed and always dip new plants, so I don't need to say that ).

I swear, smashing them and removing egg sacs makes a huge impact! I used to find several each night and saw little babies everywhere. I started smashing them (all fish love them) and being vigilant about removing eggs sacs and I rarely see them anymore.

You could always get an assassin snail.

Yeah, I cut some out of the waterspite and used to use tweezers to crush them. Now I just use my thumb. I try not to think about how gross it is and the Rasboras peck at the remains.

Still though. PITA.
