Hello everyone, I have read this forum for a while, but have just recently joined as a member and was wondering if someone could shed some light on a problem I have been having with my amazon swords. I looked around at some of the other topics but have not seen anything that matches this.
I have 2 amazon swords in a 30 gallon tank and at first they grew like crazy, then as time went on they slowed down a bit and the older one has developed holes in thinning leaves. The newer plant hasnt yet, but has developed dark edges on some of the leaves; most of the leaves look healthy.
I have a 30 gallon with a SolarMax high output double T5 lighting (one bulb is a T5 10,000k and the other is a T5 Blue Actinic-03 lamp) for a total of 78 watts. (2.6w/gal). I use Flourish comprehensive fert. 1-2x a week and use flourish excel about 4 times a week. No c02, but I have just recently put a Flourish tab around each plant. Also, the substrate is the run of the mill gravel...
Thanks in advance for any help!
