I'm finally getting around to setting up my tank and was curious if there were any good places to get dry driftwood nearby Cupertino or San Jose? Thanks!
About 3 weeks ago on Craigs List there was a local guy clearing out about 20 medium/small to medium/large sized pieces from a very large tank. Prices were very cheap. I was temped to grab some for a raining day. Sorry, I don't know how to contact him, but maybe he's still posting on Craigs List.
I've purchased my pieces at PetCo. Prices are descent, but you may have to shop around for a while or wait for inventory turnover before finding a piece you like.
You can also try Dolphin Pet Village in Cambell. They have a better selection than PetCo, but also charge quite a bit more.
If you want more than one piece, it's a lot cheaper to buy a large one and break/chop it into smaller pieces.
let me know if you need some more. I have some and also have a contact for more(The guy on Craigslist).
