Ah, my next dream tank

There's nothing wrong with snails in a planted tank. The smaller ones all eat detritus and algae. But if you're looking to kill them, potassium permaganate (not sure on time), a 1bleach:10 water solution (3min max) or 2ml to 2 cups water of Bayer's Advanced complete insect killer( rather safe on plants and stuff can go like 10 min, rather brutal on all invertabrate life so you really really need to rinse well). Do these treatments outside the tank on new plants and rinse very thoroughly....

I added a little bit of UG. I'm thinking of taking all the HC out and putting it in my 20g long as a shrimp tank and replacing all the HC in my 60-F with UG. What you guys think?

Do you think that HC and fissiden will do good in a shrimp tank?
Will HC do good with minimal about of Co2?
I plan to only inject about .5 to 1 bubble a second in my shrimp tank.

I have some algae on my tropica 049. What type of algae is this and how I get rid of it?
