Glad to see things are still going strong MGap. King Bubba is a cool fish.

For the rafts in a high humidity setup, go with some java ferns. Java Fern wendelov, or Lace Java Fern (same thing), looks pretty good. Also anubias barteri. They take a little while to grow, but will definitely show improvement in your next 9 month update

Bubba is really cool, Gooberfish. He knows me now and will come to wherever I am (by the tank) for food, ignoring anyone else. Its pretty awesome.

Since i put him in this tank, he has grown over 4 inches, currently measuring about 9 inches long and about 3 inches wide at his thickest. I really don't want him to grow anymore, he's already huge and I already feel bad because the tank, at 12 inches deep, is almost as long as he is.

At any rate, I've got my eye on a 56 gal column at petsmart, which I didn't even know existed, but its a good size, and 18 inches deep. Just gotta wait for my elevator to get fixed and it's mine.

Submerge your plants underwater in the tank overnight.
