So, it was night as usual. Stare into the tanks, watching the shrimp for a while. Take stock of how many berried moms there are, watching for big saddles and newly molted shrimp, smiling at the babies.
I was doing the last thing on the list, watching a tiny baby sitting on a low anubias leaf, when suddenly a super creepy leach looking worm comes out of the substrate, and strikes at the baby, wrapping around it! The worm thrashed a few times, then uncurled, the little baby gone inside the nasty thing.
The poor baby!!
And did I mention that my worst fear in the world is.... leaches!!
These things have to be eradicated, and soon!!
