Thoughts on adding a filter

I have a 65g medium plant load, heavy fish load. Fish are Amazonian----angels, tetras, cories, otos and plecos. Plants are swords, cabomba and vals in fluorite. I use Seachem Excel for carbon, and Seachem ferts.

I want to add a little bit more water movement and some extra filtration. Currently running a Fluval 405, with a very small powerhead to add a bit more.

I'm planning on picking up an aquaclear, thinking of the one rated for 30g.

Should I go one higher? I'm concerned about having too much movement if I do.

Thoughts?

go with another canister..... going with an aquaclear is a step backward, plus, the most important aspect to filtration is bio-filtration. With another canister, your tank with be able to handle that heavy fish load with longer time between water changes, while adding more flow as you want.

I have a 50 with an eheim g3 and an ecco on it and love both of them
