Not me! I'm not a math expert but since it starts out as an estimate at best, you may have already over thunk it way back!
Since it all requires a balance between lights, plants, and CO2 as well as the ferts, there really is not going to be a precise correct answer.
Shoot for close and adjust as needed!
Every other day? That seems so high.
I was putting it in an eye dropper, and added one drop every other day.
I have noticed some 'bubbles' at the top of the tank. I have a fluval edge (with the glass top). and the extra bubbles are annoying. Could the excel be causing this?
That a lots of bubbles but excel won't create bubbles. Something in your tank did that. Are you using HOB? Is your Outflow splashing into rocks or DW? Observe the tank. Done 30-50% weekly water change?
I agree with the above .5 ml is the recommended dose, I however have been using 1.5ml in a roughly 7 gallon tank with good results. It's an extra ten gallon aquarium I use to grow out cuttings, but when it's all said and done it really only holds 7-8 gallons.
I use 1ml daily in my 5g bow front RCS tank. My plants are 1 pretty java fern lace and 60% of ground is covered in riccia. Actually, since I started using 1ml, instead of .5ml my tank has been free of algae.
