Fluval Spec 2 - riparium?

thinking of terracing a fluval spec 2 with slate, then i thought, lets plant the sump.. which led to the planted hob thread.. which led to what about a riparium? have the bottom level of the terrace the bottom of the tank be water, with emersed plants and then traditional plants on a couple other terraces leading up to the top which would have a home made spray bar and terrestrial moss on the top level. i'd modify the sump/pump section to pump up to the spray bar and bypass the filter section.

thoughts?
