Can this moss grow in aquatic conditions?


I found this moss by a river in Idaho and its awesome! I have the sample seen in the pic submerged now to see if it will grow..

Is this just a plain stupid idea?

You never know until you try! Sorta looks like sphagnum though which isn't aquatic. That whole piece would look great in a terrarium.

I'm doing the same with some moss I found in my backyard. I hear if it survives two months submersed it will probably work out ok!
