I have a 150 gal planted tank of mostly Asian species and I'm asking for suggestions for something a little different and larger than what I have now. (Being a CITES protected animal my number one choice of Asian Arowana is out of the question :frown:) I have:

8 Boesemani rainbows
6 Turquoise rainbows
7 clown loach
10 Odessa barb
5 Denison's barb
1 lonely threadfin rainbow and 1 lonely clown barb (he'd be out if I could catch him)

I will be adding a half dozen pearl gouramis when I can find some.

I was thinking a couple of green chromides might add some drama, maybe too much.

Green chromides... they're cichlids, and they have every potential to be sweet and laid-back or vile-tempered and brusk. All depends on the individual. I'd go with the pearl gouramis. Can't go wrong there.
