Yes, it is a moss species. The spelling is with one n only: Cratoneuron. It's growing in the states, too (and in Finland as well!). At least Dennerle is selling it in Germany and calling it (free translation): Triangle moss. One British site calls it 'Fern-leaved Hook-moss'. USDA Plants database calls it Cratoneuron moss...
