Yeah don't plant it in a pot and leave it outside! Had mine about a week, tied a clump to price of driftwood floating in the tank just to get it going, that batch is doing fine as of yet. The bit in the pot went white and weird, I'm guessing temperature, trying to rehab what's left of it in the tank now. Was going to grow it out floating, then submerge it on a slope under the filter stream, no co2
It'll have to grow a bit before I can share! I'd be glad to if ya don't mind waiting. I got mine from a user here, Ebi I think, felt a little pricey for a patch of green but I suppose that's how it goes!
I have some Hydro "kompact" available. 4, or 5 big plants. Only catch is I leave town on Saturday so Friday is only chance for pickup for a couple of weeks.
I have 5 Cardinal Tetras I am looking to give away. I am in Yardley, PA and am willing to meetup within 30 or so minutes away. Fish are about a year old, I just need to clear some space in my tank.
Just a quick "Hi" here. Have been a member for years at this point but just putting up my first dedicated planted tank. My set up is a 58g (36x18x21) BML dutch planted light and a 2217 Ehime filter. Have not bought anything else at this point. Looking at doing a mid tech tank. Looking at 3 bags of Eco-compleat and 2 bags of black Flourite for substrate. maybe down the line a DIY CO2 set up. Looking to do a formal garden look. Will be looking for a dozen+ rummy nose and 10+ zebra loches (sp?) once the the tank is up to the fish load. Down the road a few show Angels. Any input or suggestions are very welcome
Got the stand refinished, Tank all washed down with a ton of vinegar to rid all the hard water marks, filled and rinsed about 10x times. Sitting full just to be sure there are no leaks. The draw back of buying used. Have read myself batty on picking a substright
I have "some" riccia but I wouldn't call it a lot - probably a chinese food takeout dish or two.
....I 've been trying to pull the duckweed out of it and isolate it incase your friend still needs it. May have more if you're not too picky and will take duckweed with it..

I'm glad to see people post here. I just spent the day yesterday tearing down my 25g cube and putting up a 40B. I drilled the back and am running 2x eheim 2213s. I'm not sure how to post pics though.
My Cherry Shrimp population is getting out of hand and free to a good home. I can part ways with around 3 dozen, Some pregnant. They are not the most pure (have some clear sections on a few) but very healthy.
110 Gallon Oceanic Aquarium. I have put a lot of work into the tank. Drilled for a silent and failsafe overflow called "Beananimal". 3 1" drains. A main siphon, an open channel (backup in case of a blockage) and an emergency drain. I drilled the tank [...]
Anyone interested in this setup. No problems with it, just ready for a change. I'd have to sell it to get some money for then next, but it's a beautiful system. I include the CO2 system, but not the filter. I'm mature to the G-series and they're getting hard to find.
FYI, there is probably $500 worrying of crypts alone in this tank. You get it all...everything you see except the filter,
though you could have some of the media to seed your own.

Hey guys, I'm looking to consolidate a few tanks and as a result I have 2 complete setups that I'm looking to sell. I'd like to offer them here first for local pickup before selling the pieces off in the SnS.
The first is an 8 gallon rimless nano with evo 6x3w clip light, heater, co2 regulator, bubble counter, diffuser, eheim 2213, glass lily pipes, stand and more.
The second setup is a 20l with ray II light, heater, co2 regulator, bubble counter, in-line atomizer, eheim 2213, glass lily pipes, stand and more.
If you're interested or would like more information and pictures, feel free to PM me. Thanks.
My tank in my office is overstocked, and while it is doing beautifully I want to make some changes to the stock I have. I am open to rehoming 1 pearl gourami which I am pretty sure is female, 1 empire goby that I know that is male, and 1 dwarf puffer that I don't know what the sex is. All are in perfect health, I am just looking to make a change. I've never bagged up a fish before, so if you can come to my work in NE philly and get them yourself they are completely free. This weekend would be great, but not necessary. First come first serve.
Hey guys, just wanted to let everyone know that the worldwide aquarium pet store in roxborough is actually carrying pgymy cories and Siamese Algae Eaters. These two fish are very cool and usually hard to find. Price is reasonable as well at $3 each. I have a school of 40 pygmys in my 75 gallon planted tank and it's super fun to watch.
On another note:
I have some stuff I'd like to sell to make some money for larger pieces of driftwood.
Medium size driftwood
HOB power filters
Heaters
55 gallon black aquarium stand with 2 magnetic doors
Other aquarium stuff that I don't feel like typing haha

70 lbs of pea sized gravel.
A Marineland C220 canister filter (all media included but I have since misplaced the vinyl tubing which can be purchased from a Lowe's/Home Depot for dirt cheap).
A HOB Whisper filter rated for a 55g (I believe - at least that's what I used it on for the longest time).
Driftwood (3 medium size + 1 small size).
1 bag of Onyx Black sand (15 lbs).
Large amount of cotton batting (used as filter media).
Looking for:
Any tank larger than 55g.
Filter socks (100 micron or smaller - clean).
Red mangroves (doesn't matter if they have roots or still propagules).
Gobies (bumblebee and/or dragon).
If you mean small small, then I still have that toms rapids mini. I just got transferred to the Kensington Office of my job. Should be interesting haha I'll hope on 95 and come up one of these days for another swap meet if we can rally the troops. I'm looking for some willow hygro to use as a background plant in my 75 gallon tank. Or maybe siamensis hygro if i got that name right. Just something easy that will blow in the current of the filters. I thought about jungle val but that stuff melting too easy and I don't want to be cleaning it out all the time.
