The Missouri Aquarium Society (MASI) is having their Annual Fall Auction
on Sunday, November 13th, 2011 at the Gardenville Masonic Lodge, 8230 Gravois Rd,
St. Louis..............fish, plants, tanks, supplies, books, equipment, foods and more.
Plus a raffle!!
How does the auction event work. I assume it's not like the swap meet that was held a month or so ago. Do we all bring things to auction. Does the money to to Masi? Thanks. Just wasn't sure what to expect and what to bring....besides cash.
You can just go and watch, pay to bid, or bring items (info on their site) to sell. Pretty cool and some great deals. I bought three male albino bristle nose plecos there for $8 bucks. I paid that for one in a pet store. Got some great fish and plants, plus a lot of equipment as well. Worth the trip just to look. Oh, and there is a deal where you can take items up and pay a buck to get them moved up in the line so you don't have to wait so long to bid on the items you want if your pressed for time.
