I picked up a used 29g BioCube and while the PC (power compact fluorescent) bulbs work, they are past their prime (dim). I was planning on doing a low-tech to medium-low tech light with it. Probably DIY CO2 if needed.

I saw a few threads that mentioned that with both lights running it was still considered "low" light but that doesn't sound correct given that each bulb is 36W dual T5HO, that seems like running both bulbs would get me into the medium light range.

Since I have to order 2 bulbs, what should I get? I can choose from 5500K, 6700K, or 10000K.

Any will work, but I'd go 6700k. Those BioCubes are awesome tanks by the way, enjoy that. I'd probably start out running a single bulb until the tank get's established, but I wouldn't be scared to run both of them once the plants really start growing in.
