dwarf water lettuce
I have some really nice dwarf water lettuce in my tank. I need it out of my high tech planted tank because it blocks too much light. Will it survive in my fifty breeder? I have two 36 inch T 8 bulbs. I am wondering if this will be enough light. Thanks

Is it actually dwarf water lettuce or is it frogbit. some sellers are selling frogbit as letuce. is the tank open top or covered? i think if its covered it may not work. you can always give it a try with a few plants. i love dwarf water lettuce but have been able to find any lately.

I have water lettus in 4 tanks that are about the size of a quarter, They all came from a single normal size Water Lettuce plant I got at a pond supply store that was 10" across.
Is there truly a dwarf sp.?

it is definitely water lettuce. It was in my high tech tank doing great but no light was getting through! so not it is in my 50g breeder with a glass lid. I have one dual 36 inch T 8 fixture on the tank. Is this enough? i can add another dual T8 if needed.
