ok, i know a lot of people are like me, too lazy for a journal...lol so i figured i would start a post where you can post a pic of your tank(s) without having to add specs and such. let's just call this a PA photo gallery. here are mine :
my 55. took this a few days ago, and it is different already..lol
my 20L grow tank. (almost empty after today)
my emersed bin
8gal Ebi... blue pearls and malawa shrimp
my 125
FTS
left side
right side
silly mts thinks it's a plumb bob....lol
that's all for now. enjoy folks, and post your tanks!!:bounce:
Once I get my iphone I'll be posting photos all day every day. It's just a pain in the A$$ to take them with my phone and then upload them with a cord that I've since lost.
maybe if we plan far enough ahead, you can drive out for one? btw...set up my first kitty litter tank tonight. gonna be a low light special. anubias, crypts, java ferns and shrimp only. just as soon as i can get to Van's place.....lol
I bought them small and put some root tabs underneath them. They literally shot up from there. The Osiris Sword really took off and the wisteria is a weed.
albino long fin pleco breeding pair , albino koi sword
want to buy 10 black calvus for empty tank
planted tank, community
crs tank
cpo tank
fire red tank
180gal frontosa tank
i have some no substance 15gal tanks and a rack i will start breeding guppies
i just bought my first group but arrived thin..unhealthy... died next day lol
maybe i will start after winter
i will setup a Tropheus tank soon
but no space for discus this time
the tanks look good jimmy. don't get discouraged, looks like the time away from the tanks maybe took it''s toll?? you'll get them back up to where they were, you got some breeding skills
i agree. I actually like Wisteria in a tank like this. It definately creates imbalance in one of those beautiful high tech tanks...but with plants like swords and what not, It creates a create background plant that is very user friendly aside from the trimmings.
I keep wisteria in my 5gal low tech beta tank. It literally consumed the entire tank, so I just let it go. Literally can't keep up with the weed like growth. Looks great. Good for sucking up nitrates like crazy too
I traded frontosa with shrimps so I dont know what kind but they seem low grade
And aquarium center in nj has black calvus for 6 or 8 dollor I will buy them on black friday I guess
thought i would throw up an updated pic of my 75. it just got a MAJOR trim last week, so growth kinda sucks right now:
and my all new, set it and forget it, low light, dirt and kitty litter tank. set this up for some crs. i just threw in a bunch of plants that i forgot about in my emersed bin. i figure anybody can scape a tank with awesome driftwood and seiryu stone, but it takes some skill to throw some lava rock in piles, add some dead plants and make it look good down the road. so maybe this should be my hero or zero tank.....lol
all dead. the wife decided to use a spray pesticide in the kitchen. within 6 hours, every shimp in my tanks was dead. so i took a mental break. starting the shrimp tanks up again. just gotta get my butt over to dan's and van's for shrimp, and if jimmy ever stops by, yet another species or two
Jesus....that's like getting shot in the stomach. :icon_eek: I hope you get those shrimp tanks back up. I loved those yellows i saw when I was over there. I know your pain though. My male German blue ram committed suicide by leaping out of my tank. He was my prized fish. Got my single female 3 new suitors tho. Hoping she pairs up with one and they get it on soon.
i have to get them first.....lol absolutely though. you know you're my favorite Harrisburghian(?) LOL and i can say that because my so-called brother lives in the burg. LOL
and Tony, that 30 gallon? it is a melted crypt nightmare!!! i think every crypt except my hudoroi plantlet melted away. it's a rhizome fest!!!LOL no worries though, they'll all grow back eventually.
barely anything survived. i had already got my fish new homes. but i did lose a pair of pacific blue eyed rainbows all the shrimp died and i lost most of my plants. the ones that did survive are currently in my 75
Yeah I saw it. Looks great. And yeah I have two whites. They're great frogs. I love em.
