I got the brown BNs. Hopefully they will be getting otos in the next couple of months. I will be increasing my school of rummy noses eventually. After I get the angels I will need to give the bank account some time to recoup. Might have to see about picking up some over time.

So I planted my girlfriends 3 gallon Cube yesterday/last night. Micro sword was hopefully good practice for DHG planted 40 individual stems to make a pathway from a cave she had me make, and there's some cherry hedge as the background. I'm liking the way it looks, and she's pretty happy too.

Went on a bit of a plant shopping spree yesterday, Got water wisteria, DHG, Micro sword, cherry hedge, and a bunch of Naja Anacharis which also included about a pot full of Microsword, and a few bits of java moss, and some stems of pennywort.

Hoping to get the rest of it out of quaratine today, since it is from walmart.

Activity for me is simply being online! The power supply on my PC burned out 3 weeks ago, and on top of that my internet was shut off for over 2 weeks. Finally getting back online!

Planted tank activity... I recently did a complete tear down of my marineland 56 gallon tank. I had eco complete as the substrate. mixed with floramax. I was honestly sick of looking at it, I don't like the way it looks, and it doesn't hold down plants very good.

So decided to do a simple tank so I loaded up on plain black gravel, spray painted the background black. I'm gonna plant it lightly with mostly Crypts, and maybe a few swords for height. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna use root tabs for them.

One other note.... I was looking around at the Aquatic section at Meijers like I normally do.... And much to my surprise they had one pot of Dwarf Sag. Snatched it right up.

Nice, Glad to hear you're back up and running around on the internet.

Nice snag at meijers, just remember Quarantine plants from there, they need a few days just to clear millions of pond snails haha.

Good luck with the new setup.

Where did you get all the plants from?

I have six that I picked out from her, although she did say she might send a 7th as a gift. Will have to see when they get here tomorrow.

Since she said that she'll have to give you the 7th.

They don't. This is the first time I've ever seen it there. Maybe they'll start carrying it all the time.

I kinda want to get some plants from Meijer I just don't trust them. The ones around me have some giant crypts that are probably worth more than they would charge me.

Crazydog, If you are worried about the possibility of disease, or hitchhikers, find your self a 5 gallon bucket, put any questionable purchases in, shine light for 8 hours a day, and let it be out of your mind for a week, then plant when ready.

Today has not been a good day, UPS delivered my fish to someone else. Earlier this morning I saw the driver with a package heading to the apartments across from me. I had thought about calling out to her but figured she was delivering multiple packages and would be getting mine next. Wrong, I started checking the tracking number and all of a sudden came up delivered and no package. Called ups, who were no help at all and for a hold of the person I got the fish from. She had better luck they said they would send the driver back after she finished her route, still currently waiting. I checked all the apartments across from me and each one denied getting a package. Someone is lying. Once I find out where the package was delivered to, if they still deny getting it I will be calling the police and filing a report. It just angers me that people think it is okay to take things that are not theirs.
