they look to be the same thing as the marineland single bright fixtures but a little cheaper. They run at .06w or 60mw, the same as the marineland. I just bought one over the weekend, 24" size, and had to return it as the single 17w T8 i have is definitely brighter.
I have no idea, I should've specified the fixture I bought over the weekend was the marineland single bright 24"... and it wasnt bright enough for a 12" tall tank to grow anything but maybe moss, and super slowly at that. I would skip these completely. Need at least the double bright with 1w LEDs.
Single bright LED fixtures are good for low light fish tanks. . <--- Period
Marineland Double Brights will grow plants in 12" tall tanks. Bushy plants do better than stems as stems grow towards individual LED emitters.
