When Is Potassium Sulfate Needed?
KS204 seems to be a commonly sold fert but I rarely see that people actually use it. When would you use this in addition to or instead of other ferts?

I use it as K supplementation in my occasionally high light tank. Sometimes P and N levels rise higher than I'm comfortable with, so I burn them off (don't dose). Since I've seen signs of K deficiency when doing this and it's apparently nontoxic to inverts and fish, I now dose KSO4.
