my redone 30p

Rescaped 6/20/2012 for a GWAPA meeting.

Fish: Heterandria formosa
Plants:
Eleocharis spp. (collected)
Sagittaria subulata (collected)
Helanthium quadricostatus
Hydrocotyle tripartita
Anubias nana var. 'Petite'
Cryptocoryne noritoi
Fissidens fontanus probably

No CO2, screw in LED daylight bulb, recycled 6 year old Amazonia.

My wife likes it so much it may have to stay where it was "temporarily" located for the meeting. Better pics will come when it grows in a little.

Looks really cool. Even though sand rivers have been done over and over, I don't think I have seen one with that much detail. I love the shape and the rocks you added. Looks really good, I have contemplated putting a sand river in my scape and will come back to this for inspiration if I go that route.

Thanks, a 30p is a 30 cm cube. Close to a 12 inch cube.

Thanks, the nerite snails look like snow plows when they move over the sand.

It's looking good and I really love the hairgrass, have I mentioned that before? I have just used Amazonia for the first time only six months ago and it's in a 2.5 with medium to high light, no CO2, no dosing, and it grows slow but the plants have come back from the dead and look super healthy, so I'm now hooked.
