vampire shrimp
so i got one of these guys last week and almost imediately after being introduced he found a hole in my driftwood and tucked himself in there, ive only seen him a couple times peeking his front out of the hole fanning away.
will he eventually come out and walk around? or has he claimed this new spot as his home? what sucks is the hole in the driftwood is angled in a way when he scoots inside you cant see him, only when he decides to peek out you can see him lol any vamp shrimp owners wanna chime in? i also have cherrys, and amano's that seem to not mind their new tank mate. |

I'd be interested too. Maybe they are named Vampire shrimp for a reason? lol

I've never heard about these kinds of shrimp. Sounds very interesting.

They tend to be very shy at first. Might be a few weeks before he/she comes out more to explore around the tank. It's still getting settled in IMO, and as long as its eating I wouldn't worry too much
