unfinished molting

so i found one of my shrimp didn't molt fully or correctly and i think it caused its horns or whatever to be curled upwards. will he be alright? i had to peel of the remaining shell from his head because i was afraid it would obstruct his eating

If you got the old shell off and he's still alive he should be fine. I just had to do this a few days ago and shrimpie is fine now walking around eating.

^+1 my red rili had that look of its "horns" being tucked in, and molted later and is fine now
