what are good algea eaters that wont tear up the plants

i have flag fish, bushy nose, and ramshorns on hand

Depends what kinda Algae you have ? a few not mentioned are Amano shrimp, ottos, & then there are Rosy Barbs they just love to consume copious amounts of hair Algae.

dont rosy barbs start tearing up plants? Ive see what barbs can do to anubias

Had a couple of different Anubias in my tank & I never saw them messing with it or anything else for that matter apart from hair Algae...which is what I put em' in there for within a wk it was gone & stayed gone & they still never messed with the plants .

My experience with Rosy Barbs was that they like to eat plants with fine leaves....
