Art Sand as Substrate?


Has anyone used art sand as substrate? Would it be aquarium-safe?

It comes in a wide range of colors and I could really set up a dream aquarium.

i would not use that because i think the sand is actually died that way.

Depends on what type of dyes they use, but personally I wouldn't risk it.
