I have some photos hosted on Bravenet, but got confused when I tried to post them here.
Had no problem getting them to show, but they were HUGE! So I deleted my post.

How do I resize them? Or should I just link to my bravenet page?

Under the photo, it said 2160X1440.
Right click properties said it was a JPEG file
8226646 bytes
520X347 pixels

As a complete computer idiot, I have no idea what these various things mean, and how I can manipulate what to post a decent sized image here.

Of course, I dnon't know if I should be asking for your help so you can all mock my meagre efforts!

I honestly can't think of any reason why someone would mock you for trying to learn.
I don't think this forum is like that, we all play nice

I use the picture editing software that came with my digital cam, to resize.
Perhaps you have similar software? Photoshop? Adobe?

I am sure as a last result, you could always ask one of our members, if they would resize them for you
But I am sure their are other DIY things you can use........they just aren't coming to mind.

A great program for viewing and resizing images is ACDSee. You can download a copy at www.shareware.com or a trial copy at www.acdsee.com
It even has some pretty powerful editing options I use frequently.

Thanks, guys.
I was messing around with what I had, and I think I ended up with something that works for now. Check out my thread and let me know what you think.
This digital photography would be a lot of fun to get into. Might have to get myself a camera. Add it to the list ...

If you really like the program don't forget to register it, it doesn't cost too much and it helps further development. There's my blatent plug for the day :-)

P.S. The ACD Systems office is a block or two from where I am sitting, they're a really cool group of developers :-)

Cool Gareth! I didn't know ACDSee was written by canucks! haha, just kidding! I've been using it since college and I love it. I own my copy, by the way.
