hardscape placement opinons
slowly rescaping this tank and tryed some differnet hardscape placements.
which one looks best? the plants are being sold and moved around so just thin of the wood with no plants around it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I like the third one and the last one... However i think it would look better in the last one if you placed it in the back of the tank and kind of had the branches poking through the plants. However looking at your tank it looks like that is not an option unless you want to uproot all of those plants in the background

half of the plants are already gone since i took the pics. not worried about plants, just want to figure out the wood placement
ive had this posting in aquascape for a week with no replys till i put it in the general tank discussion, now its back in the same place where i get no replys lol |

i vote pic number 3. and i vote that you get some moss or riccia growing from the top to make it look like a tree

pic number two with the "base" moved backwards, towards the back corner of the tank so the that "finger" pointed a little more forward. This also depends on the type of scape you want in the long run.

You're centering the wood too much in all of those options except for the last one. Just my opinion. It's nice looking wood though!

i was just playing around with the pieces and have decided on the last pic, i moved the wood back some and cut some off to do so. it looks the best so far so i think ill stay with it for awhile.
i rescaped alittle and have the right side of tank looking ok. the left side i will rescape after i get some more plants.
