Well I switched my 70 gallon planted tank over to a jebo(jebao) 828(67$) canister filter from a AC500 what a difference , my water is far more clear my co2 is up 20ppm with diy co2 and plants are pearling like mad.
The filter itself seems very well made with all the necessary parts etc. It is sat in my cabinet and I can only hear it if I open the door. The tank is in my bedroom ,right beside my bed the room is now eerily quite compared to the Ac500 (my wife called it the got to go pee noise). I was thinking of bubbling my co2 straight into my canister any thoughts on this. I also managed to connect my fluval surface skimmer on the intake so no film or water sprite bits floating about. I am also thinking of adding a hydor inline 300 watt heater and a uv coralife 9watt inline. Any thoughts on that? Please eheim pimps go easy on me. In canada ehiems are way over priced Botia
