ADA 60P... Seiryu & Manzanita.. Scape opinions...
Just wanted to get the expert opinions here... this is a 60P with Flourite black sand, seiryu stone, and manzanita driftwood...
not sure of what plants to use..possibly: Fore: HC, Glosso, UG Mid: Blyxa? Anubias Nana Petite Back:?? Comments suggestions... start over? Still also debating using Seiryu (saving it for Iwagumi) vs. Ryuoh stones... Last edited by spikeit; 09-17-2009 at 01:30 AM.. |

the rocks look too close together to allow plants to tank hold in there. you may end up with a bald spot depending on what plants you use.

Not sure if you are wanting stems as a background plant, but your blyxa will probably grow big enough to use as a background wall. Would get the nature look going if that is what you are going for. There was a post recently showing how red it can get, which could be very cool and great contrast to HC or glosso foreground.

By no means an expert opinion...Both driftwood and stone placements are good. but pic 2 looks better than 1. Simply because the three branches on the right are not parallel to each other, which seems too artificial.
No comments on plants. (don't have enough experience) Thanks, Arin |
