will i be fully stocked after this

30g tank (36" long).

Currently i have 1 bristlenose, 1 dwarf blue gourami.
I have 2m4f cherrybarbs in quarantine

i plan on getting 6 corys

will that be too much or can i still add in a tetra of some type.

the tank will be about 60-70% covered in plants so i dont know if this will be too much or not.

it's a little heavy, not too much tho, if you get a small species of corys and you do 50% weekly water changes and you're careful not to over feed you should be ok.

by the way you'll get away with heavy stocking more easily if it is the 30 breeder (36x18x12) rather than the standard 30 (36x12x16), [L x W x H]

i should say- I'm always more of a light stocker so i haven't often pushed it very far in my own tanks

if i took back 1m2f of the barbs would that be better or would 6 total cherry barbs work out better. that would give me a little more room.

you could do that but i think you will be okay with what you originally proposed. bigger groups are worth it in my expirience. just pick panda, skunk, san juan, bandit, or salt&peper corys; there are lots of types that stay 2" or less. I'd just avoid aneus or others that get to be 2.5-3"- you'll worry about it less.
