Algae Grower

Pros-
Lots of marine fish, show tanks with extra high display tanks for easy viewing corals Decent tropical fish selection and quality was good Roomy (space seems to be a common issue among LFS's) Cons- **No planted aquariums yet Only 2 or 3 small aisles of dry goods Only popular items stocked, although they had CO2 systems/parts for sale. Of course higher prices **The Fountain Valley store is planning on a planted (55G?) show tank and 3 smaller tanks for plant sales. Very friendly service from a young couple, he's a marine biology major. When visiting each store I easily started conversations with the brother (Anaheim) and brother-in-law (FV). I felt the most comfortable in these stores compared to others in the area. It's family owned, two stores - one on Brookhurst in Fountain Valley and the other on Warner in Anaheim. |
