best way to tye riccia down?

whats the best way to tye it down i have stainless steel mesh should i put it one there and tye it with cotton thread?

Use hair netting or a loofah you get from Wal-Mart for 97 cents. Unravel it and use it to hold the riccia down on the stainless steel mesh.

Unsightly for a week or so until the riccia grows over and covers it.
