Col. Ohio meets?

Hi,
just wondering if anyone is in CAFE/Col.Area Fish Enthusiast/here,and going to the April 25th meet in Columbus?Or any other ones i should know about?

I'm not a member yet. Are there many?
Seems lame to have only a meeting every 2 months.
I was in GAAC in Akron 22 years ago and they still have monthly meetings.
I live in Gahanna and just got back into the hobby.

Just saw your reply sorry.I joined up GCAS.ORG also,from cinci,
.They seem to be more active.Also do not forget the swap meet the 22nd of this month.

I am in reynoldsburg, but I am not sure of the group you are referring to. I would be interested in learning more though.

Hi guys, I'm on the CAFE board. www.columbusfishclub.org is the site and we have a pretty active forum as well (I'm Liz on the forums). The site also lists the clubs functions.

We recently revamped the club a year or two ago and since attendance to meetings was horrible at that time we reduced the meetings from monthly to bimonthly. We now get in speakers every month as well as have a mini auction. There are 2 yearly BIG auctions, a swap meet in March and a CAFE club day at Aquarium Adventure usually in January but rescheduled for later this year. Don't let the bimonthly meeting fool you, there's a lot of info and a lot going on otherwise. Hope you can make a meeting or function!

Oh, also last year we started BAP and HAP again and have a nice turnout for submissions at each meeting. Paid members can participate and will receive a bimonthly newsletter.
