I want a ten gallon ram tank.
I want to have a pair of rams and a couple of tetras. I'm not sure on what tetras I want. And maybe some different snails for algae control. It will most likely be CO2 if it is over the 2wpg range for lighting. What type of plants do you recommend for a ten gallon size
Any thoughts would be very much appreaciated. Thanks, Joel

Ten gallons is on the small side for rams, especially if you want tetras too.
As far as plants go, you could go for some crypts, bacopa, hair grass, or a couple hundred others. It all depends on the potential size of the plant (obviously), light requirements, and your personal preference. |

Depending on your lighting (wattage) about any type of plant will do. Also look at how much pruning you want to do, if not much than stay away from most stem plants and go with low growers like Crypts. Here is a link for plant ideas that goes by wattage... http://www.plantgeek.net/plantguide_cat.php?category=1

A 10 gallon tank is too small, and believe it or not, they actually are quite agressive, they have high territorial demands, and basically, a pair needs a 20g to themselves...
