Trying a hybrid of wabi-kusa & iwagumi?

In my 2.5g AGA tank i want to see if this is feasable.
Basically i have a small wabikusa ball on one side w. moss rocks to boot, & then a bit of a field of HC. Behind the wabi kusa ball i'll probably have HM & e. tenellus.

I will be dry starting the HC, HM, & E. tenellus first though, then when it was filled up to a decent level i will add a wabi kusa ball & flood the tank half way ?

Also what plantswould you suggest for the wabi kusa ball & what should i use to make a ball ?
