Check out what I scored this week for my christmas present.



Left to right back to front, 55 gallon, 15 gallon, 40 gallon breeder(I think) with two 10 gallons inside it, and another 10 gallon.
All for 100$

Edit: Not 55 gallon, 40 gallon long, wich is even better. perfect size.

I think your "55" is a 40 long!! Just for fun, measure it.

A 40 long is 48 x 13 x 16

I looked back at the measurments the guy gave me and you're right!

I'm pretty horrible at eyeballing measurements so I didn't even notice it wasn't 21" high.

This is even better, I didn't even know this size tank existed, and it's perfect.

I'm hoping I'll end up with the latter.
The current plan seems to be find a bunch of really cheap buckets and then go from there.

I would, but It'll probably be a long while before any of these get up and running. First I need to clean them, then see if they hold water, and on and on and on and on.
We'll see how it's panning out by January.

Just scatter them in a yard or field, send them to the landfill.....unless you actually want to use it for something or give it away. Then just soak it in bleach first....and have at it.

Nice score. Before you start cleaning, do leak test on all. No sense wasting time if they are going to pee water all over the place.

Will do, after I get the rest of the gravel out tommorrow.

I'm a little doubtful of the 10 gallons, since the silicon seems to be getting old, if that's possible, the quality is all over the place.
But I guess if they're messed up, I can rebuild them. We have the technology.
Better than they were before. Better, wider, cooler.

Works great in the bottom of pots when potting flowers.
