They're for saltwater reef tanks. Half of the light is 7100K Actinic blue, which augments the color spectrum deep water corals need.

And there's not a way to switch the bulbs once you buy it?

I dunno, people pay good money for INFORMATION all the time on ebay thinking they are buying the actual product. I watched an auction for a link to a web site selling a high end video card for half of what other sites were selling it. 8 people bid on it and the price went over the supposed selling price. Sad and funny at the same time.

Yep amazing what can happen when ya don't read the whole auction carefully. :roll:
Good thing, I don't have money to throw around, otherwise I might have been sitting here with some reef bulbs and no fixtures for my planted tank. :shock:
