Hey, I'm new to the planted tank.. but been using it for a lot of research on planted tanks. Recently got back into the hobby, although prior I was a "fish only" kinda guy. Boy I now know what I was missing. Gonna purchase a new setup within the coming weeks and I will definetely post my progress.

I really wantedto say thanks to all the great people here. All of the information in this Forum has mad for a quick learning curve and hopefully I'll avoid a few "newbie" mistakes. I'm sure you'll all be seeing more posts from me as time progresses. Thanks again AWESOME site.

As well i noticed a lot of post lately regarding what we do for a living.. so I'll just post it here. I work as Civil Maintainer at an 8 unit Nuclear plant here in Canada (hence the avatar) I plan on started a medium to havily planted 50g.. with plenty of fish. Gonna be a nice accent peice in my living room (i hope)

do you have one of those t shirts that says: "i am a civil maintainer at a nuclear power plant. if you see me running, try to keep up."?
