well I live in CT and we have no planted society so I am up for this. Maybe a site or something. Also it would be awesome if at every meeting someone brought a ank that they had to tear down and others brought materials and plants to make a awesome tank. Anyways just throwing ideas out on how I would do it. I think if everyone pitched in it would be fun.

Is this still going on? An NYCAGC? I'd like to participate. Of course, I'm already a part of NJAGC, but maybe there can be some sort of collaboration.

Has anyone joined http://aquariums.meetup.com/94/?
I really want to hold a meeting but I didn't want to since renationaL AKA spypet sugested another means of meeting other aquarist. Possibley make a group called NYAA New York Advance Aquatics. Basically meaning a group is interested in going beyond what is offered by most retail chain petstores and focusing on plants. So I like to hear NYC's feedback

I think there is a New York club already, so you maywant to slip in the "City" in there, such as NYCAA or something. Just throwing it out there.

Yeah I know but when it comes to plants, they are lacking. More about sick lids. When I wrote NYAA, I wanted to create that group.
