ADA 60P setup (first tank)

I have had several reef tanks over the years, but never kept a planted tank before. I just moved to Massachusetts and am ready to start my first planted aquarium. I was curious what people think about this setup. The lighting is something I am not sure about, but I would like a fixture that can rest on top of the tank and prefer that it be silver, not black. I will incorporate good suggestions and keep track of the build. Thank you in advance!

Tank: ADA 60P

Filtration: Eheim 2215

Lighting: ARCHAEA Ultra-Gro PG Series 60cm?

CO2: Pressurized with atomic inline diffuser

Flora: Elocharis acicularis, Glossostigma elatinoides, Blyxa japonica

Fauna: Caridina multidentata, undecided on fish

Substrate: Undecided any suggestions?

Hardscape: Seiryu Stone and/or Ryuoh Stone

Update, I have just built a stand for my ADA tank. I will take photos of it tomorrow morning once the wood glue dries.

The Finnex Ray 2 might be a good light for you to consider. I'm currently setting up a 60P and it's the light I chose.

Here is the stand built. Now it needs to be primed and painted grey. I drilled two holes in the back. One is for the CO2 line and the other is for power cords. I also need to cut a hole between compartments for the solenoid wire.

Okay I have finished drilling the holes in the stand and it is now primed and painted grey. I have placed an order for a ADA 60P tank, lights, and rocks. They should be here in a week.

Did you purchase one or two of those fixtures? It seems very thin. Thank you for the suggestion and I hope your setup goes well!

I purchased one of them. I think other people have had good success with just one. My plan was that if I felt I needed more light, I would purchase a Finnex Planted+ rather than a second Ray 2.

I have been swamped with work and a recent move so it has been awhile since my last update. My ADA tank, mat, rocks, and light came in today. The light is so much brighter than I expected it to be. I will likely order the substrate and plants sometime this weekend.
